Rumors and Truth (any)

Mercedes walked through Reality with her shot tray in hand. The place was buzzing with various people who were in the area when the building exploded last night. Chuckling as she heard someone mention terrorists, she turned and smiled at the young man. "Shot?"

He paid and gulped it down. She continued her rounds, occassionally looking up at Eylsium in case anyone with any truth about last night came in.

Mercedes watched the entourage as they walked into the bar, making an entrance and that was saying something for this place. She smiled slightly, shaking her head. She appears not to recognize Sergei in his new attire, but the moment the ladies call for a waitress, she is at the table in an instant.

Her black tank top boasts SUCCUBUS CLUB in red glittering letters across her ample chest and her short black skirt jingles softly with the chains on it as she sways their direction. Her arm held expertly as to not spill any of the shot glasses, she halts at the table.

"Good evening." She lowers the tray to show the wares of various colored shot glasses. "Anything catch your eye or I can take an order to the bar." Her amber eyes sparkle as she waits.

Mercedes chuckles softly, setting down two of the green shots for the one pointed out as Anastacia. "Here you go, Anastacia."

She plucks two blue shots off her tray, setting them in front of Inga. "Here you are....the house special."

She frowns slightly at her tray, plucking off a deep maroon shot and a violet one, setting them in front of Sergio. "Yes, sir, Mr. Romanov. I remember you now." She smiles politely. "This must be the entourage you were referring to."

She takes the last shot of violet liquid off her tray and shoots it down before holding the tray at her side. "Are things well for you?" She glances around a bit nervously, but then focuses on Sergio again.

Mercedes picks up the money, eyeing it for a moment before pocketing it. "Thank you." She murmurs softly to Inga. "Mr. Romanov is very generous."

Mercedes smiles broadly at Anastacia's exhuberance and chuckles softly when she and Sasha disappear into the club's patrons. She nods at Sergei. "I imagine they can be, sir." Her eyes continuing to twinkle in amusement.

She nods. "Good, I'm glad to hear the city is treating you well so far."

She eyes the card with the same expression as the money, as if it might explode or jump at her. She takes the card and it disappears into a pocket where the money did. "An appointment?" She seems slightly confused until Sergei mentions last night. She frowns slightly, her expression becoming serious for a moment. "Yes, last night...."

She glances around for a moment, gesturing to another shot girl. She passes her tray off to the other girl and smiles at her. "Taking a break."

The girl nods. "Gotcha."

Mercedes turns her full attention back to Sergei and Inga. "My boss is actually quite understanding. If I may make a suggestion though...it would probably be best to move up to Elysium." She gestures to a balcony overlooking Reality that is roped off at the stairs up and manned by a strong, no nonsense looking man. "Although the club is loud, there are still eyes and ears that may not need to hear what we may discuss."

She waits patiently at the table to see if they wish her to lead them upstairs.

Mercedes keeps a neutral expression on her face as Sergio dismisses Inga. "Nice to meet you."

She directs her attention to Sergei and smiles. "Right this way, Mr. Romanov."

She turns, her hips swaying as she walks towards the stairs. She gives the man standing a small nod and without any words, the man unhooks the rope blocking the stairs. She ascends the steps and moves over to a table near the back, in the shadows as Inga had mentioned.

She slides into a seat and gestures to another chair. "I apologize that I am not up on your customs or expectations, but I hope that if I offend you that you will give me a chance to correct my error before things get messy."

She takes a deep breath and then gestures to the place, devoid of anyone except the two of them. There are many tables and another entrance/exit to the building over to one side. The balcony overlooks the floor of Reality and although it is more private up here it is by no means less loud. The pounding rhthym of the music vibrates the floor even up here and it still requires you to speak in a slightly louder then normal tone to be heard clearly which it appears Mercedes is accustommed to.

"Welcome to Elysium, Mr. Romanov." Her lips twitch up in a smile. "Do not worry about the name...it is a private joke. This place is a safe spot to speak about....speak words that otherwise would get you called in front of the Prince or in my place...killed."

She seems oddly calm about the discussion, but she does pick at a spot on the edge of the table at the mention of her possible demise. She looks back up at Sergei. "Do you have any news about the explosion last night?"

Mercedes smiles and nods at him at his exceptance of if she was to make a mistake. She shakes her head. "I take no offense at being called a beautiful woman...and if that is your curse I know several people who would gladly take your curse."

She laughs softly at that, then listens closely to Sergei. "Yes, that makes sense. Reputation doesn't allows tell you what motivates people. Watching people does that." She smiles knowingly.

Her chin raises slightly, whether in pride or defiance is not clear. "Yes, sir. I belong to Portia, the owner of this establishment."

Mercedes smiles and nods at Sergei. "Of course. Have a good night." She moves with him back down the stairs and over to the bar in Reality. She loads up another shot tray and moves into the crowd.
